Both abstract and representational, my work draws upon the constantly shifting face of urban landscapes. In my old Toronto neighbourhood, the past may be read in creeping rust, blooming slivers of paint, and darkening windows. The fabrication of my mixed media work expresses these ideas with wire, pins, screws, rusted hasps, links of chain, metallic leaf, staples, glaziers’ points and endless found materials.
